Sriranga Divyadesa Mangalasasanam by 11 Azhwars

Sriranga Divyadesa Managalasasanam By 11 Azhwars
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sri Velukkudi Krishnan in his Thirumaalai Saram discourse had commented on focus of Each Azwar on a specific form of Para Vasudevan. Thirumazhisai Azhwar Focused on Anthayamithvam. Mudhal Azhwars focused on Parathvam. Rest of the Azhwars focused on either Vibhava Avatars such Sri Rama, Sri Krishna and Archa Avatars. Thirumangai Azhwar got into his horse and visited 86 Divya Desams to perform Mangalasasanam. Andal, Periazhwar and Nammazhwar Focused on Vibhava Avatar Sri Krishna. Kulasekara Azhwar focused on Vibhava Avatar Sri Krishna and Sri Rama. Thondarapodi Azhwar focused on Archa Avatars at Srirangam and Thirumalai( Lord Srinivasa). Thiruppaanazhwar confined himself to Lord Ranganatha Only.

It is generally said that Madhurakavi Azwar never performed Mangalasasanam to any Divya desam Perumal and composed pasurams ( Kanninun Siruthambu) on Nammazhwar only. But Lord Sriman Narayana made sure that Madhura Kavi talks about his Mahima in Krishnaavatharam in the beginining of kanninun Siruthamabu with "கண்ணி நுண்சிறுத் தாம்பினால் கட்டுண்ணப் பண்ணி யபெரு மாயன்என் னப்பனில்"

Madhura Kavi Azhwar brings out the fact that Lord Sriman

Narayana who can never be bound by anyone at any time by

anyone and at any location, allows himself to be bound by a

small piece of Kayaru, only shows his leela and compassion

 to Yashodha.

Srirangam is the only Divya Kshetram and Lord

Ranaganatha is the only Archavatar Deity to

have received Managalasasanam of 247

pasurams by 11 Azhwars.

Here is a presenation of Mangalasasana pasurams by 11

Azhwars. The presentation covers one pasuram each of

each of the 11 Azhwars anda pasuram by Perumal Pillai

Iyengar.
