Visishtadwaitham and Thiruvaaimozhi

Visishtadwaitham and Thiruvaaimozhi

Nalayira Divya Prabhandham is collection of works by 12 Azhwars was made available to Sri Nathamunigal by Sri Nammazhwar after he was pleased with Sri Nathamuni's 12000 times chanting of 11 pasurams of Kanninun Siruthambu by Sri Madhurakavi Azhwar. The 12 Azhwars focused on different forms of Sriman Narayana. For a presentation on the focus of different Azhwars Please visit http://srimannarayana108.blogspot.com/2013/05/blog-post_1.html
Sri Ramanuja formulated Visihtadwaitha with five doctrines as the basis. These five doctrines include

1. Para Swarupam - மிக்க இறைநிலை
2. Jeevatma Swarupam - மெய்யாம் உயிர்நிலை
3. Upaya Swarupam - தக்க நெறி
4. Virothi Swarupam - தடையாகித் தொக்கியலும் ஊழ்வினை
5. Prapthi Swarupam - வாழ்வினையும் ஓதும் வேதம்

This is also known as Artha Panchakam as found in the writings of Poorvacahrya Sri PillaiLokachariar. The entire Thiruvaaimozhi (1102) Pasurams form the basis for these five doctrines of Visishtaadwaitham of Sri Ramanuja. Please also visit http://srimannarayana108.blogspot.com/2013/07/artha-panchagam-is-essence-of.html. This is just my understanding of the relationship between Visishtaadwaitham and Divya Prabhadham.
