உந்து மதகளிற்றன் ஓடாத தோள்வலியன்Having woken up Nandagopalan and Yashodha, Andal decides to use the good offices of Nappinai, daughter-in-law of Nandagopalan who has strong shoulders and a proud owner of army of elephants and who never backtracks on a battle field.
Andal pays tributes to Nappinnai as Daughter-in-law of Nandagopalan, one adorning attractive black tresses, one with soft hands like red-lotus and one whose bracelets on forearm making sounds as she moves them.
Andal indicates to her that dawn has begun by citing the facts that Cuckoos are up and making noises everywhere and Cuckoos sitting on kurukkathi flowers are calling out and requested her to come out and open the doors so that they can
sing Lord Krishna's glory.
According to Purvacharya commentary, in this pasuram, Andal brings out the fact that Lord and Devi are inseparable and waking up (Nappinnai) Pratti first is the means to to reach the ultimate goal of reaching Lord (Krishna).
