song on Thiru Chirupuliyur Divya Desam- DD024

Song on ThiruChirupuliyur Divya Desam

Thirumangai Azhwar has sung 10 pasurams (1628-1637) in his Peria Thirumozhi on the Lord of Thiru Chirupuliyur Divya Desam. The song below is mostly based on this Peria Thirumozhi Pathigam and narrates how Thirumangai Azhwar experienced and sung about this Lord and performed Saranagathi to the Lord.

There are two Divya Desams where in the Lord presents himelf in Sayana Kolam facing South. The first one is Thiruvarangam and other one is in Thiru Chirupuliyur where he presents himself in Bala Sayanam (in sleeping pose and in smaller size as a Child. )
