Amudhanar says Nammazhwar took avatar to compose four prabhandhams in Tamil language, containg the essence of four veda namely Rig, Yajur, Saam and Atharvana. Madhurakavi Azhwar had Satagopan(Nammazhwar) in his heart as his Acharya and served him. Amudhanar says That Bhagavath Ramanuja had great respects for Madhurakavi Azhwar's Acharya Bakthi and he used to share the greatness of Madhurakavi Azhwar with his sisyas.
