Vanamamalai Mutt

Vanamamalai Mutt Ponnadikkal Jeeyar

Manavala Mamunigal had eight disciples called Ashta Diggajas. The first and most important amongst them was Sri Ponnadikal Jeeyar swamy. After he joined Manavala Mamunigal, the number of sishyas multiplied and hence was given the name Ponnadi kaal, gifted with golden feet.

Ponnadikaal Jeeyar established the Vanamamali Mutt with Nanguneri as its head quarters, comtrolling several temples including the Thirucheevara Mangai Divya desam Temple,

Adiyen had the opportunity to participate in the Thiru Nakshathram of current Jeeyar on 26th Novemver 2013. It was unique in the sense, Adiyen had the opportunity to get the blessings of Thirykurungid;, Alwar Thirunagari and Bheemavra Jeeyars on that day.

This Mutt is adajacent and nearer the entrance of the Thothadrinathan Temple. Adiyen had the opportunity to have darshan of Thodadrinathan, Cheevara Mangai, Deivanayagan and Thayars. Adiyen had the opportunity to go around the mutt and also had a brief interaction with current Jeeyar.

Here is a presentation on Mangalasasanam on Ponnadikal Jeeyar.

During trip to India in Oct-Nov 2013, Adiyen had an opportunity to visit Thirucheevaramangai ( Nanguneri) Divya Desam and had darshan of Thothadri Nathan Srivara Mangai Nachiar and utsavar Deiva Nayagan Perumal.

I came across the following stotrams about Thothadrinathan and Deivanayagan

I did not come across any audio. I have tried to recite all the four. These resemble somwwhat Sri Venkatesa Suprabatham, Prapatti, Stotram and Mangalasasanam. If anyone comes across a good audio recording, Would appreciate a link to the same. I seek the blessings of Sri Thothadrinathan and Sri DeivaNyagan and Sri Varamangai  of Nanguneri  and their Kshama for any mistakes in my recital.
