Nammazhwar Visualizes Pralayam
We all have heard or witnessed Earthquake, Tornado, Avalanche, Great Flood, Volcanoes, Typhoons, Hurricanes, Wild fires, Torrential rain, Tsunami and other types disasters over centuries involving one or two of Five Elements( Earth, Water, Air Fire and sky) of God's creation.
What happens when all the five elements are in turbulence together. None of us would live to witness that but Nammazhwar recreates a graphical vision of what really happened during Pralayam when The Lord takes back all that he created all in one stroke. That was one of the greatest leela of Lord Sriman Narayana.
Nammazhwar goes to add that the sounds of sucking of all elements, Stars, Planets and other creations in the Universe reverberated. Just reading this very pasuram instills fear but at the same time reveals the mahima (greatness) of the Lord of the Universe, Sriman Narayana
