The pasuram presented below by Thirumangai Azhwar (Parakalan)  is  the Sarngam (bow) amsam of Srimana Narayana. Nammazhwar was known by the name of Maran from childhood. He was different from other children and pretty abnormal in day-to-day activities and his parents gave him the name Maran, indicating that he was unique and different from the children of his age.  Nammazhwar's parents tried everything under their control to get the child back to normal and ultimately surrendered to Athinatha perumal in Thirukurugoor and left the child under his care. The child moved on its own from Athinathar sannathi into a Tamarind tree in the temple complex and stayed there for 16 long years almost immobile. There was big transformation in Maran at the age of 16.

Nammazhwar composed and sang four prabhandhams namely Thiru Viruththam, Thiruvasiriyam, Peria Thiruvandhadhi and Thiruvaaimozhi reflecting Rig, Yajur, Atharvana and Sama veda. These Divya Prabhandhams got the name Dravida Veda Sagaram because they were in Tamil and essence of corresponding Sanskrit Veda

In this Thiruvaaimozhi pasuram "
சாணாமாகும் தனதாளா டைந்தார்க் கெல்லாம் ", Nammazhwar performs Mangalasasanam to the Lord of Thirukkannapuram. Nammazhrwar says " Oh Lord of Thirukannapuram!  For all those who make unqualified surrender and take refuge,  You are the one that bestows liberation and take them to Vaikundam. You are the presiding Lord at Thirukannapuram Divya Desam. You are personification of Love."

The pasuram presented below is by Andal also known as Soodikoduththa Nachiyar. Andal was divine gifted daughter of  Periazhwar who brought her up in Bakthi claden environment. He was narrating the entire Bala Leelas of Krishna. Kothai was fully immersed in Lord Krishna and her bakthi to the Lord had so much depth that Kothai brought the Lord under control with her bakthi. Periazhwar had a Nanadavanam of his own and used to offer a variety of flowers every day as mala, which Andal used it on herself first before offering it to the Lord. Andal composed Thiruppavai and Nachiyar Thirumozhi bakthi laden pasurams on Lord Krishna.

In this Nachiyar Thiumozhi pasuram " காட்டில் வேங்கடம் கண்ண புரநகர்" , Andal performs Mangalasasanam to the Lord of Thirukannapuram. Andal says that Lord Sriman Narayana enjoying the comforts of Vaikundam served by Nithyasuris and Devas, comes to this world taking Archavathar out of love for his devotees forsaking all comforts of Vaikundam. Lord Sriman Narayana in His archavathar is a resident of Divya Desams Thiruvengadam (in the midst of forest) and Thirukannapuram( a city). He also took Vamana Avatar out of his own Sankalpa. Andal says the Lords of Thiruvengadam and Thirukannapuram came running with eagarness to seek her companionship and are waiting. Andal prays that she be blessed with the closeness of these Lords.

You are the one that removesall my hurdles. You are the Lord of Seven worlds"
