Para Vasudevan

      Para Vasudevan

Para Vasudevan
---------------------------
There are many parallels between paramapadam and Srirangam as stated in the verse below.

KavEri VirajA sEyam Vaikuntam Rangamandiram
Sa VaasudEvO RangEsa: Prathyaksham Paramam Padham

Paramapadam has Viraja as river, SriVaikundam as temple and Para Vasudevan as deity. similarly Srirangam had Cavery as river, Perai Kovil as Temple and Lord Ranganatha as deity.

Para Vasudevan is the highest form of  Sriman Narayana in Vaikundam

As we visit Divya Desams and pray to Lord Ranganatha, Lord Srinivasan, Lord Varadaraja, Lord Venkatakrishnan etc.., Let us remember these archa avatars are nothing but another form Lord Sriman Narayana alias Para Vasudeva of Paramapadam. Bhagavat Sri Ramanuja taught us that Parabrahman, manifests in five possible aspects: Para, Vyūha, Vibhava,  Antaryamin and Archa . Para form is the first immanent manifestation of the Supreme Being.

Here is a song on Para form of Lord Sriman Narayana describing the major attributes
