Composed Sri Adi Sankara, this stotram has 27 verses corresponning to 27 stars or Nakshtra. In this Storam, Adi Sankaraelabotes Lord Shiva's attributes, glory and deeds. The Panchakshari Mantra with five syllables "Nama Shivaya" is repeated four times in each verse Totalling 108 times.
