Thirumazhisai Azhwar hides Thathwams inside the number and playa a number game to elaborate the highest Philosophies.

In the Pasuram the first two lines merely calls out numbers 6, 6, 6, 5,5 and 5 in the first line and numbers 2,3,7,6 and 8

Purvacharyas have brought the embedded philosophies behind these numbers. 

They are related to six Karmas', six Ruthus', six Yagas', Five Yagnas', Five Ahuthis', Five Aarathakas', Two Seer',  Three Bkakthi types and Three Upasana Palams', Seven Vivekas', six Gunas and  Eight Samanathi Karanyas'

Thirumazhisai Azhwar goes to add that The Lord also created different Gyana Margas' (schools of thought). The paramathma also reveals himself to those believe in Him and hides Himself from those who do not believe in Him. He also became the touch(sparsam) and Sound sensations

Thirumazhisai Azhwar hides Thathwams inside the number and playa a number game to elaborate the highest Philosophies related to Parathwam.  using Numbers, 5,4,3,2 and one Thirumazhisai Azhwar brings out the relationship of between Five elements and the karana Gunas they exhibit.  

(1). Earth has Karana Gunas' namely Sound, touch, Rupam, Taste and Smell

(2) Water has Karana Gunas' Sound, touch, Rupam and Taste

(3) Fire has Karana Gunas' Sound, touch and Rupam 

(4) Air has Karana Gunas' Sound, and touch 

(5) Sapce has Karana Guna Sound.

Though the five elements with different karana gunams are crea creations of the Lord, yet the Paramatha stands apart from all these created five elements.

பூநிலாய வைந்துமாய்ப் புனற்கண்நின்ற நான்குமாய்

தீநிலாய மூன்றுமாய்ச் சிறந்தகா லிரண்டுமாய்

மீநிலாய தொன்றுமாகி வேறுவேறு தன்மையாய்
