Pancha Moorthi Brindaranya Kshetram
பஞ்ச மூர்த்திகள் - பிருந்தாரண்ய க்ஷேத்ரம்
I read the news that due to renovation works, devotees of Triplicane and Chennai may not have an opportunity to have darshan of Lord Venkatakrishna for next six months. While it may may be a routine every 12 years for the temple to undertake maintenance work followed by Samprokshanam, still it may be a disappointment for many who visit the temple not to have darshan of Moolavar.
A visit to Parthasarathi temple without having darshan of Moolavr Venkatakrishan always ends up in a small disappointment. But Managalasanam by Thirumangai Azhwar, Thirumazhisai Azhwar and Peryazhwar to some extent helps us to reconstruct the majastic form Of Lord Venkatakrishnan and Pancha Moorthies of Brindranya Kshetram.
Here is presentaion of the snippets of 12 pasurams just highlighting the form. beauty and achievements of five Moorthies in their respective avatars. These Azhwars consider that Lord Srimana Narayana (who took the Avatars of Lords Narsimha, Rama, Krishna and His own Descent to perform the act of Gajendra Moksham and last but not the least the Archavatar of Lord Ranganatha) is presiding over this temple as five different Moorthies. This presented in the form of a song based on Magalasasanam Pasurams.
Being Bheesma Ekadasi day, Let us remember of Lord Sriman Narayana through Managasasanam of these Azhwars on the Pancha Moorthies of Brindaranya Kshetra
