In this pasuram Amudhanar states the benefits that accrue to those who take refuge in him. Amudhanar says that Bhagavath with his penance and vedic knowledge lifted this world from darkness surrounded by Kali yuga effects and  established Sharanagathi Tatvam. Amudhanar goes on to say that those who surrender at his feet automatically blessed to gain tejas born out of knowledge, forgiving nature, skills, ability, fame, well rounded Jnanam and wealth.

In this Pasuram Amudhanar recalls the abundant love that Bhagavath Ramanuja had for the lotus feet of broad and strong shouldered with Lord Varadaraja, the Aththigiri Perarulalan. Amudhanar tells his mind how his soul has evolved over countless days, months, years and ages by taking birth as plants, animals and different bodies in the cycle of bith and death and suddenly without his efforts, he has been born in the golden age of Bhagavath Ramanuja and fortunate enough to be associated with him by His grace.

In this pasuram, Amudhanar says that Bhagavath Raamanuja declared through his Sri Bashyam that the Paramatma, Lord Sriman Narayana,  is the seshi(owner) of all souls(sesha).  Amudhanar terms him as faultless and a compassionate friend. As such a compassionate guru, took him under his contrrol, Amudhanar says it does not matter to him if he is conferred the comforts of heaven or the perils of hell.

In this pasuram Amudhanar says that Bhagavath Ramanuja keeps at a distance those who do not surrender to the Lotus feet of pure and blemishness Lord Krishna, who vanquished cruel and wicked Kamsa and who is fond of Nappinnai with soft cotton like feet. Amudhanar says that he would not sing the glory of anyone other than Bhagavath Ramanuja. Amudhar feels that he is indeed very fortunate and grateful to sing the glory of Bhagavath Ramanuja.

In this Pasuram Amudhanar praises the spontaneity with which Bhagavath Ramanujs'a grace falls upon his devotees and his generosity in granting never diminishes but is getting multiplied exponentially.  Amudhanar says Bhagavth Ramanuja's magnanimity and benevolence made it possible to enter and stay in the heart of sinner like himself and one that never deserved such grace. Amudhanar worries if this act of Bhagavath Ramanuja would be a scar on his greatness.
