In this pasuram Amudhanar showers heaps of praises on Bhagavath Ramanuja's karunyam (Compassion). Amudhanar says just as rain does not differentiate betwen different areas, Bhagavath Ramauja never looks into status of the recipient to shower mercy and showing compassion. Amudhanar says inspite of having accumulated sin, Bhagavath Ramanuja owned him accepted him. Such a noble act of Bhagavath Ramanuja had lifted his soul from low depths. Amudhanar says dwelling on Bhagavath Ramanuja's auspicious qualities brings immense happiness to him. In this world surrounded by oceans, Amudhanars says very few can fully appreciate and understand the ocean of compassion that Bhagavath Ramanuja really is.
