Let us dwell on the twenty second Pasuram of Ramanuja Nootrandhdhi.

In this pasuram, Amudhanar praises Lord Sriman Narayana's valour and compassion that he displayed in the battle with Banasuran.  Lords Subramanya, Vinayaka and Shiva, Durga devi, Agni, Jwara Devatha who came in support of Banasura were chased away by Lord Sriman Narayana and when all these Lords recognized Lord Sriman Narayana's mahima and praised him as the "Kararana Buthan" of all the three worlds, he,out of compassion pardoned Banasura and spared his life. Amudhanar says that Bhagavath Ramanuja, who worships Lord Sriman Narayana, is our future long term asset.
