நெஞ்சே தினம் நினைப்போம்  
இராமானுசன் நாமங்களே
रामानुजस्य चरणौ शरणं प्रपद्ये 
(411 days to celebrate 1000th year of Bhagavat Ramanuja)

Let us begin our journey towards 1st May 2017, by recalling his life events, teachings, achievements, glory and hsi contribution to Srivaishavam and Visishtadwaitham

When any one wants to know about a guru, he needs to be introduced by someone who had greater understanding about his work, teachings, glory etc. We are going to learn about Bhagavath Ramanuja's greatness, divine qualities, His reverence for Acharyas' as well as their works and contributions, His respects for Azhwars and their Arulichyals through Ramanuja Nootrandhadhi composed by Koil Peria Nambi ( Thiruvarangaththamudhanar)

Let us dwell on the fifteenth Pasuram of Ramanuja Nootrandhdhi.


In this pasuram Amudhanar describes Periazhwar declared Lord Sriman Narayana is the essence of Para Tatvam and while coming in procession on the elephant provided by Pandya king, gets the darshan of Lord Srimann Narayana, sitting on Garuda Vahana. Out of boundless love and concern for Lord Sriman Naryana forgets that Lord Narayana is the protector himself and sings Pallandu Pallandu" and blessing him with millions of years of Kshemam and safety. Amudhanar enjoys the undivided attention of Bhagavath Ramanuja on the lotus feet of Periazhwar and says he won't go after those people who do not appreciate the special qualities of Bhagavath Ramanuja and having take such a vow Amudhanar says he has no worries.
