Bhagavad Gita Chapter 7 Gnana Vignana Yogam
Bhagavad Gita Chapter 7 Gnana Vignana Yoga
As Lord Shiva narrated to Goddess Partvathi that reciting of
the 7th Chapter of Śrīmad Bhagavad-gītā, one would be able to get liberated
from the wheel of birth and death. Performing rituals for ancestors and on that
day feeding a Brahmin who regularly chants the 7th Chapter of Śrīmad
Bhagavad-gītā, are appropriate actions for Pithru Dosha.
In Śrīmad
Bhagavad-gītā, Krishna tells Arjuna He will explain how one can know Him (God)
by practicing non-attachment. Krishna imparts to Arjuna that He (God) is the
fundamental essence of the universe and that his current form is just an
earthly incarnation. Most people, Krishna explains, cannot understand that he
is the essence in all things.
Lord Krishna tell Arjuna
1.
His prakriti consists of earth, water, fire,
air, space, mind, intellect and the ego.
2.
His highest prikrithi is the jiva (principle of
consciouness) in all beings
3.
Any living being comes out of womb is His
creation
4.
Entire cosmos emerge and attains dissolution in
HIM
5.
He is the cause and no one else
6.
He holds the entire cosmos together just as
pearls arestrung together by a thread
7.
He is essence in water, brightness in Moon and
Sun, OM in Veda, sound in ether.
8.
He is the sacred scent of the earth, light of
the fire, life force in all beings
9.
He is the seed in all Beings, intellect of the
intelligent and valoor of the heroic.
10.
Amongst the stong, He is the strength without
devoid of desire and lust.
11.
He is the one that never transgresses dharma and
laws of Nature
12.
Sathva, Rajas and Tamasa guna properties are conferred
by Him
13.
Those afficted, seekers of Truth, Seekers of
wealth and Realized souls (Gnaani) are the four types of people with Punya (good
karma) worship Him.
14.
Gnani with single minded devotion to HIM are
dear to HIM
15.
If a devotee worships with faith, HE helps him
to make that faith unwavering and strong.
16.
The devotee who gets the endowed faith from Him
gets his prayers answered
17.
He is the one who grants and fulfills the wishes
of the devotee
18.
He knows all beings past, present and those yet to come. No one
knows Him. No one can fathom him
