July 22nd is the Guru Poornima day and it is an approprriate day to remember Azhwars who composed Arulicheyalagal ( Nalaayira Divya Prabhandham) and Acharyas who not only got us the Nalayiram from Nammazhwar but preserved and ensured it is chanted in all temples. They also wrote commentries. What best wat to pay Gratitude to them but to sing the Vazhi Thiru Namam of both Azhwars and Acharyas on the Guru Poornima day.
