Let us dwell on the eigth Pasuram of Ramanuja Nootrandhdhi.

Amudhanar declares that Bhagavath Ramanuja is his Lord and leader. Amudhanar says that Bhagavath Ramanuja holds Poigai Azhwar and and the light that  was lit  by Poigai Azhwar in the form of Mudhal Thiruvandhadhi,  in his heart and mind. Poigai Azhwar lit light of Knowledge to dispel darkness that existed due to lack of knowledge about Bhagavath and Bhagavatha vishayam,  by composing Mudhal(First) Thiruvandhadhi using his extensive vedic philosophical knowledge derived from deep studies of vedic scriptures and his skills in composing poems in Tamil langauge.
