Let us dwell on the Sixty-seventh Pasuram of Ramanuja 

In this pasuram Amudhanar says " Lord Krishna though never took to weapons in Mahabhara war but because The Pandavas surrendered to him, He protected the Pandavas from Kauravas plots and with his own schemes and maya he ensured that Pandavas vanquished Kauravas. Bhagavath Ramanuja advised those surrendered to him that the five indriyas were given for the sake of serving Lord Sriman Narayana  and they do not belong to them for perpetual personal use. No one else than Bhagavath Ramanuja could have protected the souls directing them for proper use of Karma Indrias"
