Bhagavath Ramanuja Millinium 1st May 2017

Adiyen’s journey to learn about Bhagavath Ramanuja started with visiting some of
the places Bhagavath Ramanuja lotus feet touched. Each place I visited, I got an opportunity to learn from friends, Scholars, Pundits, books and relatives about Bhagavath Ramanuja’s his life events, teachings, achievements, glory and his contribution to Srivaishnavam and Visishtadwaitham. Even with all the information I gathered and Blog postings that were created, I can say for certain my knowledge about Bhagavath Ramanuja is pretty limited.

Sri Velukkudi Krishnan’s discourses on Ramanuja Vaibhavam was excellent source to know about
Bhagavath Ramanuja.

Adiyen has to walk miles and miles to learn about Bhagavath Ramauja’s Life events, teachings, Achievements, His contribution to Srivaishnavam and Visishtadwaitham and so on.

My brother-in-law (Late) Peria Nambi Rangachari and his Brother Peria Nambi Srinivasachari were instrumental for me to learn about Jagadacharyan whenever I visited Srirangam or they visited our home in Chennai. They are descendants of Peria Nambi, the Acharya chosen by Lord Varadaraja for Bhagavath Ramanuja.  Adiyen learnt Vishnu Sahasranam from Peria Nambi Srinivasachriar when he happened to live in Triplicane.  I am in touch with Current Peria Nambi brothers living in Srirangam and carrying the work of Peria Nambi Thirumaligai on East Chitrai Street, Srirangam

Please refer to blog posting on Peria Nambi (https://srimannarayana108.blogspot.com/2014/12/maha-purnar-peria-nambi.html)

With the grace  of Bhagavath Ramanuja, Adiyen got an opportunity to visit some the Divya desams, Temples that Ramanuja was associated with or travelled to. There are many more but I am yet to visit them.

I came across an excellent account of Bhagavath Ramanuja’s life History in the form of Sanskrit verse  titled “Yathiraj Vaibhavam” composed by Sri Vaduga Nambi ( 113 verses). Adiyen is still learning and will post it when ready.

As I said earlier the literature and teachings left behind by Bhagavath Ramanuja is vast and very difficult to comprehend.  So the journey gas to continue.

May Bhagavtha Ramanuja’s name and fame live as long as mankind and the Universe exists. May we seek the blessings of Bhagvath Ramanuja for everyone on earth.
