Bhuthththazhwar's Irandaam Thiruvandhadhi (2278) Pasuram 10.7
Azhwars have done Managalasasanam for some Divya Desams very elaborately. For example all 11 Azhwars have sung in praise of Srirangam( Divya Desam 1), Ten Azhwars have sung in praise of Thiruvengadam ( Divya Desam 75) and Thiruparkadal ( Divya Desam 107). Managasasanam to as many as 67 Divydesams was done by one of the eleven Azhwars only.
Mangalasasanam depending on how elaborate it is, covered the one or more of following aspects
The pasuram presented below is by Bhoothathazhwar. Bhoothath Azhwar was found in a liquorice flower in Maamallapuram. He had profound knowledge of Lord Sriman Narayana's five forms of supreme, cosmic, incarnations, indweller and consecrated images(idols). He had composed 100 pasurams of Irandam Thiruvandhadhi
In this Inrandaam Thiruvandhadhi pasuram " எங்கள் பெருமான் இமையோர் தலை மகன் நீ ", Bhuthathazhwar Bhuthathazhwar performs Mangalasasanam to Lord of Thirukkudanthai and pays tribute to Kumbakonam. Bhuthathazhwar says " Oh Lord you are the Leader of Nithayasuris. You carry Mahalakshmi on on your chest. You are Sarveshwara. Oh one with Red lotus eyed one. You are Our Protector!!. You preside over the temple in the city of Kumbakonam(குடமூக்கில்). You are recling on a serpent with thousand hoods and blessing us.”
